Whats the best place to farm these, i need a couple of cores in a short amount of time.

Better yet, whats a good place to buy them?... I've tried advertising in all major cities of GW:EN, Umbral, olfasted, LA, Kaineng, kamadan, no response.

On a side note, what happened to the search function?... tried using it to first search for this topic but i could not locate it.

The best place, IMO, is Glint's Challenge. And I usually buy/sell in the Eye, or in the Central Transfer Chamber.

Glint's Challenge seems to be pretty good from my experience.

also did glinths challenge. took me 2 days to get 250 pcs

Glints mission works nice and one only needs a partner with some deceit heroes. It's one of those areas that doesn't require some elite team to beat it, although you'll find many in the transfer chamber waiting on just that.

I H/H it with me as an Ele Air Spiker, 3 N/Rt heros, 2 monk henchies, an iterrupter and a fighter. Done it successfully at least 15-20 times now. Between the drops and selling the Cloths (and then spending that gold on cores) I've gotten over 500 cores so far. Now I'll be farming cores and Cloths to sell for other stuff...
